Is it possible that because of the uncertainties and confusion of our time, that even we God’s own people are forgetting who Jesus Christ really is? No greater tragedy can overtake a world in urgent need of salvation in this hour, than to lose sight of the Savior who came to bring deliverance and emancipation to all mankind. Whether we believe it or not man’s religion, his political power, his scientific knowledge, his innovative successes, and even his tradition of worship cannot put him over the challenges of this hour.
The time has certainly come for us all to draw near to the heart of God, seek Him with all our hearts, and submit totally to the lordship of the Ruler of Heaven and Earth. For without doubt we are living in the latter end of this dispensation. We are in the closing hours of this age, an age decorated with unprecedented ungodliness.
Yet it’s an age replete with every form of godliness, powerless Godliness, consisting of lip service where men draw nigh to God with their lips but their hearts are far away from him. It’s an age so repugnant to God that it’s largely likened to lukewarm water fit only to be spewed out of God’s mouth.
However, the Lord Jesus is continuing His work of raising up God’s Holy Temple in its glory and perfection as planned. And His program is on schedule.
“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Mat 16:18). He will ” present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish” (Mat 16:18).
And again, the Spirit says that the “Building program is on Schedule”, for “it’s not by power nor by might but by my Spirit says the Lord” (Zech 4:6).
“The SILVER is mine, and the GOLD is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Hag 2:8-9).
God is building this Temple, as we speak, with precious stones, with ‘enduring’ SILVER and GOLD. In fact, the building of His Temple took on some enlargement in 2020, unbeknown to the world and even to the carnally minded church members and their “world-famous” ministers, who are busy building (their kingdoms) with perishable “silver and gold” thinking that they are rich, economically and politically powerful, lacking nothing; while the Spirit beckons saying:
“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent” (Rev 3:17).
The Holy Spirit then presents the tragic scene, which I believe is reversible contingent upon our repentance, of the Lord Jesus standing outside, completely locked out, of His Church. Man (Self), taking over as usual, must have assumed His place in the “church” locking Him, ‘the Lamb that sitteth upon the Throne’, out of “their church”.
In Him, the Sun of Righteousness is life; and that life is our light. We the Church of Jesus Christ cannot shine as lights in the world If we lock out the source of light, the Sun of righteousness. We cannot overcome the power of darkness if we do not let the Light enter into us and then shine through us to dispel the darkness outside. He is the light shines in darkness; and the darkness cannot overcome it.
And if there was any time in the history of man when this is urgently needed, it’s now. For if there was any time our world needs the “Sun of Righteousness to shine forth with healing rays”, it is now, in this day and hour. “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings;” (Mal 4:2).
The fear of the Lord is no longer among His people, both the people and their ministers. Of course, that’s why He’s locked outside and ‘man’ sat as head in His place.
Note that the ‘fear of the Lord’ of which we speak is not the same as the other ‘fear that has torment’, fear of the unknown, fear of punishment, or fear of terror–an instrument the enemy, or fear of terror; But we are referring to the “Fear of God” which is worshipful submission, reverent obedience, putting His word first above everything, worshipping Him as deserving of the Most High, and not tramping carelessly into His Presence where angels dare to tread.
And so, in the Holy Spirit’s revelatory portrayal above, the Lord is seen knocking at the heart’s door of individual men and women saying to each:
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hears My voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him and he with Me.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame and am set down with My Father in His throne. He that hath an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” Rev. 3:20-22.
He’s seen knocking at the heart’s door of individual men and women, seeking out a company of overcomers, the Church out of the “church” who in total obedience to Him will have the privilege to join Him on His Throne even as He obeyed the Father and He’s set upon His Throne.
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Php 2:5-11).
We must repent, return to the Lord.
Let’s forsake our own ways, and return to the Fear of God
Let’s rededicate our lives, our families, our vocation, and
our time in this world to Christ our Lord who gave His own life
for us. Let’s submit our mental abilities, ideologies, and our
political allegiance to Him and to His will.
Let us open the door of total submission to Him and Him alone
Seek Him with All our heart, all our soul, and All our strength
Let’s Put the Old behind us; Let put 2020 behind us…
Let lukewarmness, carnally mindedness, worldliness, slothfulness,
and faithlessness die with 2020
Let the NEWness of Life in Christ Jesus reign in 2021.
Let’s invite Him back upon the Throne of His Kingdom
Let’s totally submit to Him as KING of kings and LORD of lords
All Hail King Jesus! Arise Lord, and be Seated on Your Throne
Rule and Reign. Reign Master Jesus—over our lives and over Your Church.
For the Lord has crowned You KING of Kings.
And the kingdoms of this world has become the Kingdom of our God and of His Christ
