In this 1st Book of the Series, we concentrate on the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ, including past and present-day ministry and how God has designed them for our benefit. We are yet to scratch the surface of the abundant blessings and privileges God invested in Christ for you and me. Most of the difficulties, failures, pain and sufferings we face in life are because of ignorance of what God has made available for us in Christ.
God already provided all we will ever need to live a victorious and abundant life, materially, physically, mentally, and spiritually. He even made provision for us to enjoy a peaceful life in this chaotic and stressful time. However, all these treasures are in Christ Jesus, and we need to know Him and who He is to us, to tap into these abundant privileges. God is concerned, for when He looks down, He often sees us suffering unnecessarily. He sees us living in a state of penury and in slavery to the enemy and the forces of nature in this world sufferings and concerning it, He says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. But He has already put the means for us to overcome in Christ Jesus if only we would seek Him and get to know Him; for “the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits” (Hosh 4:6, Dan 11:32).
This book and the others in the series, by the grace of God, will enlighten the reader on the present-day ministry of our Lord Jesus towards us and how to grow in faith on the basis of it. It will help us see that God wants Him to be more than just our Savior.
The purpose of God in sending “Immanuel” is so He can be our Healer and divine Health Provider, our Shepherd, Provider, Protector, Guide, Advocate, Defender, Intercessor, Friend, High-Priest, King, our Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. And the Lord Jesus wants to be all these for you and me, and much more.
The book will show that whatever your needs may be, you can find the provision in Christ Jesus waiting for you. It will point to how you can, in Christ, appropriate these blessings to meet your need.
Whatever the mountain in your way is today, you can bank on Him being with you.
He will never leave you. He will deliver you. He is your High Priest; He knows how you feel and can sympathize with your human feelings and weaknesses for He went through your pains and much more.
Therefore, He is compassionate and is able to save to the uttermost all who would dare trust Him.
The strong admonition in the book is: “Therefore Consider Jesus”.
The action word there is— consider. We are to pay careful attention to Christ Jesus our Lord, who is the Apostle and High Priest of our profession. We are to draw near to Him, seek Him, and know Him better and better each passing day. Then we’ll begin to enjoy the abundance of His grace will do exploits in His Name.
Jesus Means “God is Salvation.” If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, now is the best time to do so.
It’s the most important decision you will ever make. God says:
“If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation”. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Rom. 10:9,10,13).
God, through His Son, has already done everything to provide salvation.
Your part is simple—believe and accept the offer of salvation.
Say this prayer out loud:
“Thank You, God, for sending Jesus to die for me.
Thank You for raising Him from the dead for me.
JESUS, I accept You as my Savior from this moment.
I confess that You are my Lord. By faith in God’s Word, I receive salvation now.
Thank You, GOD for saving me. Amen
That’s all it takes. You are now a ‘New Creation ’ in Christ Jesus. Old things have passed away; all things have become new.
